These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DDrive mobile application and services ("Service"). By downloading or using DDrive, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use DDrive. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid phone number for account creation and login.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

3. Service Overview

DDrive provides an on-demand platform connecting users with professional drivers. We provide drivers who operate in user-owned or user-arranged vehicles. DDrive does not provide vehicles.

4. Payments & Pricing

• All pricing is displayed within the app before booking confirmation.
• Applicable taxes or additional fees will be clearly shown before checkout.
• Payment may be collected in-app or offline as specified during booking.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellation fees may apply depending on how close to the trip start time you cancel.
• Cancellation fee details are shown in the app before you confirm a booking.
• Eligible refunds are processed within 4–7 business days.

6. Location Permissions

DDrive requires access to your device location for accurate pickup detection, driver matching, navigation, and live tracking. Background location access, if granted, is used only during an active trip and can be revoked in your device settings at any time.

7. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete trip details when booking.
• Ensure the vehicle you use is roadworthy, properly insured, and legally registered.
• Treat drivers respectfully — harassment, abuse, or threatening behaviour is strictly prohibited.
• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers must comply with all applicable road traffic laws, maintain professional conduct throughout each trip, carry valid driving licences and vehicle documents, and prioritise passenger safety at all times.

9. Prohibited Activities

• Misuse or manipulation of the platform.
• Fraudulent, fake, or malicious bookings.
• Reverse engineering or interfering with app functionality.
• Using the platform to facilitate any illegal activities.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DDrive is not liable for:

• Damage to or loss of vehicles, personal property, or belongings.
• Accidents, injuries, or losses resulting from vehicle defects or driver negligence.
• Service interruptions due to factors beyond our reasonable control.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. Termination may occur without prior notice in serious cases.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
